This weeks Person of the week was the man I mentioned on my blog yesterday, Shawn Blanc.  here was that entry:

I would like to take the rest of today's entry to Honor some friends of mine namely, my friend Shawn Blanc.(follow the link he's like the best blogger on the web!) The Merchant Band, and all of you on the 6am sets in the prayer room, I honor you!

I lived with Shawn for the better part of 2003, and he's been a friend ever since. Currently he is leaving the Merchant Band, the IHOP team/ band he's played with for the last 5 years. I recently heard this news, and it caused me to reminisce on his time, on the Merchant Band and the 6am crew as a whole. The basic sentiment is this, I love all these guys! I have much love and respect for Shawn, Marcus, Tim, and others, simply because they have excelled at the one thing, that I wish to excel at, they are faithful. Honestly if only one thing is said about me at the end of my life I pray it that I was faithful, in all I did. From where I stand, Shawn and the others have been just that. I honor and respect them, and I pray that God would increase grace on Shawn and his wife Anna's life as they continue in faithfulness on their journey to Zion. Love you guys!!!
