Allen Hood received his Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and currently resides in Kansas City where he functions as the Associate Director of the International House of Prayer and Director of the Forerunner School of Ministry.  Allen has ministered with Mike Bickle for over five years serving as a District Pastor for Metro Christian Fellowship and as an instructor and Dean of Students for Grace Training Center before coming to the International House of Prayer in January of 2001.

Though having many leadership functions throughout the Missions Base, Allen’s highest calling and most effective function is as an intercessor and as a worship leader.  He is one of among thousands in this generation which will contend for revival.

Allen is a regular keynote conference speaker and has had extensive experience teaching throughout the country on the knowledge of God, the pathway to intimacy, and the end-times.   Allen most desires to see the heart of the corporate church established in the tenacious love of God, the knowledge of Christ, fiery intercession, fasting, and extravagant expressions of love.  His passion is for the Son of God to be glorified in this generation through individual devotion, corporate worship and intercession, and worldwide revival.

His highest call is to contend in intercession in the International House of Prayer - KC for the fullness of God to be released in the Church for the raising up of a young adult prayer and missions movement.  His highest joy and privilege is to proclaim the glorious splendors of the God-Man, Christ Jesus.

Allen and his wife Rachel, and their three boys, Samuel, Jonathan David, and Joshua reside in Kansas City, Missouri.
